After searching for ages, I finally found a full circle skirt in my size. It looks like 70's or 80's does 50's, but that's fine. The problem, if it is a problem at all is the fabric-it is some sort of ultra suede. It is also beige. I thought some stenciling, or painted scene around the edge might make it more interesting. I've never painted on ultra suede-would it even stick? Should I pull out the coloured Sharpie pens and go at it with that? Would embroidery be better?
As the skirt was around $3.00, there isn't much lost if I ruin it, but I'd rather have a skirt I can wear. Anyone have a favourite fabric paint or similar product they'd like to recommend?
